Lin Dan


Lin Dan (Hanzi simple: 林丹; pinyin: Lin Dan) (born October 14, 1983, age 28 years) is a badminton player from Fujian, China. Lin is now the single most dominant player on the world stage, since 2004, he was in position 1 in the world for two years, and won many tournaments. In October 2006, Lin Dan regains first position in the world, after being defeated by Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia.

Biography

Lin Dan (born October 14, 2003 in Longyan, Fujian) was a home victory over China. At the age of 27 years, Lin completed the "Super Gland Slam" after winning all major titles in world badminton such as the Olympics, the Badminton World Cup, Thomas Cup, Sudirman Cup, All England, Asian Games and Asian Badminton Championship, he became the first victory and the only one who achieved this feat. He was dubbed Super And by his fans.

Personal Life

As a child, Lin encouraged to learn to play piano, but he preferred playing badminton at the age of 25 years. At age 18 he had become part of the National Team Badminton China. Lin has a relationship with Xie Xingfang and they married on December 13, 2010 in Haizhu, Guangzhou.


Career

Lin's early professional career began in 2001, in his first final at the World Championship before losing to compatriot Asia Xia Xuanze. In 2002 Lin earned his Open debut in Korea. He got the part of China in Thomas Cup squad. But at that time China was only able to reach the semifinals after the overthrown of Malaysia.

In 2003, Lin was eliminated in the semifinals Singapore Open, Indonesia Open third round, and Malysia Open second round, but Lin eventually ended the season with Denmark won the Open, Hong Kong Open and China Open. Lin get a BWF ranking position for the first time in February 2004. Lin earned his All England and Thomas Cup this season. Lin won the 2005 Hong Kong Open, German Open, Japan Open, China Masters Badminton World Cup, as well as the Sudirman Cup which had offered for China, Lin was still maintains its position in the BWF ranking.

In 2006 and 2007, Lin had won the World Badminton Championships.

In 2008 Lin enmas get medals in the Olympics and samapertama time that Lin failed to retain his All England for the third time in succession. For the third time Lin won the World Badminton Championship title. On August 2011 he won his fourth title at the World Badminton Championship by beating Lee Chong Wei in the final.
