Mukesh Chand Mathur ,born in Delhi, India British, July 22, 1923 - died in Detroit, Michigan, USA, August 27, 1976 at age 53 years) or his first name is Mukesh, is a playback singer Indian nationals. He became known as playback singing songs in the soundtrack of the major Bollywood film. His career in the music world since 1940 and until his death in 1976 he suffered a heart attack.
He was close friends with Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, actor-director Raj Kapoor and some other Indian artists who are considered a symbol of generation of the 1950s, the 1960s, and the 1970s.
