Great Marshal Arthur Wellesley, first Duke of Wellington, May 1, 1769 - 14 September 1852 was a statesman and a member of the British Empire soldiers, widely regarded as one of the military leaders and political figures who are very influential in the 19th century. His career skyrocketed during the Napoleonic Wars, with the appointment he became a great marshals.
