Asha-Rose Migiro Mtengeti (born in Songea, Ruvum Region, Tanzania, July 9, 1956, age 55 years) is a lawyer and politician from Tanzania. On January 5, 2007, he was appointed as Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations. Formally, he was appointed and entered the office starting February 1. Asha married Cleophas Migiro and has two daughters. He is the third Deputy Secretary-General on the United Nations
