Chloe Grace Moretz (born February 10, 1997, age 15 years) is an actress from the United States. At age seven, she began her acting career with appearances in films and series such as The Amityville Horror, (500) Days of Summer, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Big Momma's House 2, Desperate Housewives, and Dirty Sexy Money.
He received widespread recognition for her performance as Hit-Girl in the 2010 super hero movie Kick Ass. praise continued with a recognized role in the film critics Let Me In and Hugo.
Personal life
Chloe Moretz was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Her mother, Teri (née Duke), is a nurse practitioner, and his father, Lee McCoy Moretz, is a surgeon plastik.Moretz has four brothers: Brandon, Trevor, Colin and Ethan. One of his older brother, Trevor Duke Moretz, the acting coach and accompany him on trips and press date when the parents are unable to attend.
Moretz moved from Georgia to New York in 2001, with her mother and older brother, Trevor, because he was accepted at the Professional Performing Arts School. It originally became interested in acting career in Hollywood, began when he and his entire family moved to Los Angeles in 2003.
Acting career
His first Hollywood role was as Violet in two episodes of the series The Guardian, and his first film role was as Molly in the Heart of the Beholder.
Then he played in the 2005 remake, The Amityville Horror, and he received greater recognition in the form of Young Artist nominations Award.Setelah Amityville, Moretz career progressed further when he became a guest star on TV, as well as the role as one of the children child's family in Big Momma's House 2. Moretz training with Jackie Chan stunt crew for three months before the filming of Kick-Ass and does most of his own stunts while filming on location. Also that year, she starred as Abby, a vampire who was 12 years old, in Let Me In , the American remake of the Swedish movie Let the Right One In, which was released on October 1, 2010. The role next to Little Ann Sliger in Texas thriller Killing Fields.
Moretz plays her in a film directed by Martin Scorsese, Hugo, the movie adaptation of the book The Invention of Hugo Cabret, and Hick, a film adaptation of the novel by Andrea Portes.
