Christian Abbiati (born in Abbiategrasso, July 8, 1977) is a football player from Italy with the goalkeeper position.


Biography


Career

Abbiati is on the public while playing with AC Milan and Italian national team. He debuted on January 17, 1999 while playing replaces Sebastiano Rossi, Milan's legendary goalkeeper, in a match. But since the season 2002/03 in Milan, his position in the first team from displaced by Dida, the Brazilian national team goalkeeper. Milan Abbiati eventually loaned to another team in season 2005/2006.
He actually joined Genoa on loan, but because Genoa is required to go down to Serie C1 due to hit the problem, and then loaned to Milan Juventus. After a year at Juventus, he moved to Torino (2006/07), and then Atletico Madrid (2007-2008).
