Frank Abagnale |
Frank William Abagnale, Jr. (born 27 April 1948) is a U.S. security consultant known for his history as an expert in forged checks, disguise and escape. He became famous in 1960 for having forged a check for $ 2.5 million in 26 countries over five years, starting when he was 16 years old.
In this process, he claimed to have been assumed to be no less than eight separate identities, managed to replicate an airline pilot, a doctor, an agent of the Bureau of Prisons, and attorneys.
He escaped from police custody twice, all before she was 21 years old. He is currently a consultant and lecturer at the office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy. He also runs a financial fraud consultancy company that Abagnale & Associates.
