Isabelle Fuhrman (born in Washington DC, USA, February 25, 1997) is an American actress. Isabelle Fuhrman as Esther Coleman's role in the movie Orphan (2009). He also served as the movie Handdog Grasshopper (2007).

Life and career

Fuhrman was born in Washington, DCFebruary 25, 1997 and raised in Atlanta. His mother, Elina Fuhrman (née Kozmits), is a journalist who emigrated from Soviet Russia and has worked for CNN. His father, Nick Fuhrman, a former political candidate and business consultant. He has a sister, Madeline Fuhrman, who is a singer and songwriter.


Fuhrman's acting career began at age seven, when a casting director of the Cartoon Network saw him waiting for her brother and threw him to one of the show, Cartoon Friday. Fuhrman made his big screen debut just a few years later in 2007 drama Hounddog. In the same year, Fuhrman was chosen to star in the movie Orphan with Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard. Fuhrman was thrown through a full national search of a young actress to portray major collaboration between Warner Bros. and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way Dark Castle Entertainment Joel Silver.

Other credits include the role of Gretchen Dennis Fuhrman (aka Ghost Girl) opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt on the hit TV show Ghost Whisperer, Grace O'Neil in the 2006 television series pilot episode of Justice, and a number of national advertising such as Pizza Hut and K-Mart. His appearance as Gretchen Dennis in Ghost Whisperer earned a Young Artist Award nomination . Fuhrman also appeared in comedy skits on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and he was known to have voted Cartoon Network characters "Cartoon Friday".


In 2011, Fuhrman Vanderveer played Angie in the dark comedy Salvation Boulevard (based on the novel by Larry Beinhart), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Fuhrman was part of the ensemble cast that includes Pierce Brosnan, Marisa Tomei, Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly and Ed Harris.
In 2012, Fuhrman played Cloves, awards, the film The Hunger Games, based on the novel of the same name.

Fuhrman will next be seen starring with Will Smith and Jaden Smith in the film, After the Earth.
