Claudio Marchisio Biography
Claudio Marchisio (born in Chieri, Turin, January 19, 1986, age 26 years) is an Italian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Juventus FC and the Italian national team. A product of Juventus youth system, he has spent his career thus far in his hometown club, with the exception of a loan spell at Empoli the long season.


Since making inroads in the 2008-09 season, Marchisio is often compared to former Juventus and Italy midfielder Marco Tardelli by the Italian press for tenacious style of play and read the good of the game. A hard to handle, versatile midfielder, he preferred playing in central midfield although he has mostly been playing wide in midfield trio for both club and country.


Although most of the right leg, he had a powerful shot in both legs, then his penchant for trying to target a shot from outside the area if given the chance.
