Gennaro Gattuso

Ivan Gennaro Gattuso (born in Corigliano Calabro, Italy, January 9, 1978, age 34 years) is an Italian football player. He plays as a midfielder. Since 1999 he strengthen AC Milan in Serie A. He is fondly called Rino due to its physical strength.

He began his professional career in Perugia, but moved to Rangers in Scotland in 1997. There, he desirable because of Rangers fans play a very aggressive techniques. Gattuso said Rangers coach at the time, Walter Smith, as a strong influence on him and take it like a 'second father'. Season 98/99 Smith replaced Dick Advocaat, and Gattuso was sold to Salernitana.
