Early years
Yemanzhelinsk Shayk was born in Russia. she says he inherited the unusual appearance of his father and he has said that people often think he is South American. "My father was dark skinned, because he is Tatar, Tatar sometimes can see Brazil," he said. "I get my bright eyes of my mother." Shayk mother Olga is a pianist who was a music teacher in kindergarten and his father was a coal miner. she has one sibling, an older woman named Tatiana. Shayk began playing piano at age six. At age nine he was enrolled at the music school and studied there for seven years, both playing piano and singing in choirs since his mother wanted him to study music. His father died of complications from pneumonia at the age of 14, leaving his family with little money and forcing his mother to work two jobs to provide for the family.
After high school, studying marketing Shayk but bored with it and entered a local beauty school with her older sister. Early work
Shayk started his career relatively late to the model, at the age of 19, when she began modeling in Paris. Shayk modeled Armani Exchange Spring / Summer 2010 campaign. she also starred in "Power" Kanye West, directed by artist Marco Brambilla.She is on the cover of Ocean Drive and GQ South Africa for the August issue. He ranked first in the list of "50 Hottest Women of Russia" by Complex magazine.
He made the change from swimwear to high fashion spread in Harper's Bazaar Spain and landed the cover of Elle Spain for their November 2010 issue.Glamour Spain won the award for "Best International Model 2010" his (Spanish: Mejor Modelo Internacional) .. At the end of the year he portrayed nude in the December issue of GQ Spain, but he stated that he was stripped for the shoot, and that the magazine has been digitally altered images to remove her lingerie.

Charity
Shayk help maternity hospital in his hometown Yemanzhelinsk. He and his brother helped to rebuild the children's ward of a local hospital, and now Shayk charity raises money on behalf of Russia, Pomogi, which means "Help me" in Russian , which provides care for sick children . Irina is the official ambassador for the charity Pomogi in Russia.
Personal life
Shayk has a pet dog named Caesare, after Julius Caesar, Lab who, he claimed, had been born from one of the dogs who played the title role in Marley & Me movie.
Since May / Spring 2010, he has been dating footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Shayk and Ronaldo is expected to meet through their Armani Exchange campaign.
