Urs Bühler

Urs Toni Bühler (born in Willisau, Lucerne, Switzerland, July 19, 1971) is a Swiss singer and he is also a member of Il Divo.


Early life

Urs his musical life at the age of five, when he sang in the choir and played violin, clarinet, piano, guitar, and drums. At the time of Urs was 17, he joined a rock band called Conspiracy in which he became the vocalist. At the same time, he also attended the Academy for School and Church Music. Then he moved to Amsterdam, the Netherlands and studied music at the Conservatorium with Udo Reinemann Sweelink, known as the German baritone. And under the teachings of the Swiss tenor Gösta Winbergh, a member of Stockholm's Royal Opera, and tenor Christian Papis, Urs enriched the experience of classical music. He also sang in a choir in the Dutch and perform at the Salzburg Festival. Urs spent seven years in Holland, Netherlands Operaa Gezelschap sing along.

Il Divo

In 2003, he became a group member multiinternasional quartet Il Divo along with Carlos Marin (Spain), Sébastien Izambard (France), and David Miller (United States).
With experience and excellence in music, Il Divo also showed excellence in selecting clothing. It can be seen in the clothes almost entirely in exclusively designed by Armani. And the result, their first album, Il Divo have a lot of platinum sales worldwide, the fourth entry in the Billboard charts for less than one year and mangalahkan Robbie Williams from the first position. Their second album, Ancora. which was released on 7 November 2005 in England. The third album Siempre Il Divo are and their latest album The Promise, which was released on 10 November 2008 (worldwide) & 18 November 2008 (United States), immediately soared to the first position in the UK.


Personal Life

Urs once dated an actress and soprano Jackie van Oppen for 3 years while living in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 2001, Urs began dating a violinist named Valerie Brusselle. Their relationship ended in late 2006. Finally, he related some Tania Rodney, who is known as the makeup for Il Divo. They live in London and has a daughter named Billie Bühler / Rodney.
